CHICKEN BIRYANI RICE
Ingredients needed: –
1 ) 1kg of rice
2 ) 500g chicken
3 ) water.
4 ) 1 inch ginger
5 ) 3 shallots
6 ) 4 cloves of garlic
7 ) 2 tablespoons of biryani spice
8 ) 2 stalks lemon grass
9 ) star anise , cloves , cardamom and cinnamon
10 ) 1 cup evaporated milk
11 ) some mint leaves
13 ) some coriander leaves
14 ) 150g ghee
15 ) some rock sugar
16 ) Salt to taste
17 ) ½ cup black raisins
18 ) 2 tomatoes cut into four
19 ) 2 chili pepper
20 ) a bit of yellow food coloring
Method: –
1. First insert the ginger , shallots , garlic and a bit of water into a blender, blend until it is smooth and pour into a bowl .
2.Then heat ghee in a pan and saute blended ingredients until fragrant.
3.After that insert the 4 spices – star anise, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon, also lemon and the biryani spice.Saute until fragrant. Add water and chicken then let it simmer for a while .
4.When it boils, add evaporated milk, rock sugar , salt , mint leaves , coriander leaves and rice. Stir well and let it cook .
5. Wait until the rice has dried up and add the tomatoes , chilli pepper , raisins and yellow coloring . Mix well and chicken biryani rice is ready to be served . Good luck !
