Ingredients:
- 125g butter
- 100g granulated sugar
- 125g all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp soda bicarbonate
Method:
- Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well in between.
- Add vanilla essence and continue beating.
- Next, add cocoa powder, baking powder, soda bicarbonate and all-purpose flour.
- Pour the batter into a baking tin. Bake at 180 degree celcius for 45 minutes.
- Leave to cool for a while before serving the Butter Cake.
